Bad Bunny Promises New Music Is Underway
Bad Bunny promises more new music is on the way. In a recent interview with Forbes , the Puerto Rican superstar opened up about his future projects and on using his platform for good.
We recently got a new taste of the rapper’s music with “Dákiti” with Jhay Cortez and he promises there will be more music soon, while speaking with Forbes in support of his “Deja Tu Huella” campaign with Cheetos.
“I am always working on music so new music is underway,” Bad Bunny said. “There’s going to be some new things coming up and I’m motivated to kick ass.” One of those things will be his collaboration with Chester Cheetah that’s set to debut during the American Music Awards on Nov. 22.
Bad Bunny also talked about always speaking up for his homeland of Puerto Rico. “I feel so proud to be Puerto Rican,” he said. “For me, I think that’s the thing that I have that means the most in the music industry. Being Puerto Rican is a privilege. I feel so powerful. Since the first day of my career, being Puerto Rican has been an advantage.”
He recently flexed his Puerto Rican pride by voting in the local elections. Bad Bunny later talked about using his platform to support the LGBTQIA+ community. “I’m an artist, but I’m also a human and some people forget that,” he said. “And I do it because it’s something that I feel. It’s something that I feel as a person who has to voice what he’s feeling, and it’s not only because I’m a public figure.”
Bad Bunny is back on top with “Dákiti” currently at No. 1 on iTunes’ all-genre chart. Later this month, he competes for Album of the Year and Record of the Year at the Latin Grammy Awards.BAD BUNNY
