Izabellah Diez is an actress based in Los Angeles, California. Izabellah started out as a cheerleader and when she was sidelined by an accident, she decided to give acting a try and found out she loved it!
Her first major film entitled “Gacy: Terror in Suburbia” was released in May to rave reviews. She is very excited for her next project, “My Father’s Fiancé” which is set to be released very soon. I was fortunate when Izabellah took time out of her busy schedule for an interview about her latest film and her upcoming projects.
1. Tell us about your upcoming film “My Father’s Fiancé”.
“My Father’s Fiancé” is a film about where my father has a new girlfriend, who he ends up asking to marry him. The girlfriend has had a different plan all along, she only wants my father’s money.
2. What drew you to that script?
Something that drew me to the script is all the action in the movie with the car chase and the kidnapping.
3. Where did you find inspiration for your character?
I got my inspiration from a couple different people but one of them was Cher from “Clueless”. And what inspired me with the action scenes was the movie “The Call”, with Abigail Breslin. After doing the research, I found that movie was helpful in my kidnapping scene in “My Father‘s Fiancé”.

4. How is your character similar to you? How is she different?
My character Jenny is very similar to me, she really loves her parents. We also think very much the same. That’s why it was not hard to play the part because I just brought myself to the character.

5. What do you love about this film?
Something I love about the film is that it has everything: action, suspense, drama, and just a little bit of romance.
6. What do you hope people will take away after watching “My Father’s Fiancé”?
What I hope people will take away from “My Father’s Fiancé” is to trust your instincts and believe what people try to tell you.
7. What other project do you have coming up?
We are in pre-production of another project that we will be filming at the end of this year. Can’t give too much information but as soon as I can share I will.
