She then practiced in Pediatric Pulmonary for a period of time before transitioning to Plastic Surgery and Dermatology. She then became a stay at home mom for six years and enjoyed the time with her children.

“I decided to reignite my career, which took a lot of courage, after a loved one’s stage four cancer diagnosis awakened a burning desire in me to explore and examine what wellness truly means,” she said.

She then decided to further her education as an Integrative Medicine Fellow via the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona.

After a while, Kristel decided to leave clinical practice and start Live Greatly at the end of 2019 to be able to share her message and insights to a larger audience.

Bonni3 creates metaverse compatible housing called “Humble Abodes” NFT

Published

on

Bonni3 and Christina have joined forces to bring metaverse compatible assets to users. Their idea is simple and needed. They have created 3D compatible homes for the metaverse. Anyone who owns their NFT uses it to redeem the 3D home for metaverse use. Bonni3 states “Having the first collection one base model is simple yes, but important for people who are buying up land in the metaverse. The style is luxurious and a clean slate for the owner to completely design it to their own personal liking. Why have different options if this one works?”. Their first collection is a collection of 1 base model luxury home. Untouched on purpose for the owner to imagine the decorations and get a feel for how they wish to make the house their own.

The next collection will be a brand new design scheme and layout, and will include assets within the layout already such as a pool, basketball court, bar, helicopter pad etc. The roadmap for Humble Abodes is very simple. To deliver affordable metaverse housing/ venues for all. All NFT holders do actually get an incentive for holding a Humble Abode NFT. The creators have designed seasonal freebies for the holders called “House Warmers” which have seasonal based free decorations/items for the owners property.Example: for the season of fall they might give all owners a Nightmare Before Christmas Decoration or something completely different such as a car. The idea is genius and definitely needed for the space as more continue to buy up metaverse land on platforms such as Pavia to Decentraland, The Metaverse is coming and Humble Abodes are here.

JOCELYN DOCOUTO: OWNER OF JAESLAYED IS A WALKING INSPIRATION AND FEMALE DISRUPTOR WITHIN THE HAIR INDUSTRY

Published

on

Jocelyn Docouto is the proud owner of JaeSlayed. Growing up in a small state gave her more of a drive to succeed and conquer the world. Her biggest dream was to be known throughout the hair industry. She first learned how to braid at the age of 11 and later at 13 worked in a barber shop. Coming from immigrant parents she had to work harder in all that she did. After being accepted into Boston University she left in search of an entrepreneurial alternative that fed her soul. After working from home as a kitchen beautician and starting Jaes Protective Styles she decided it was time to open up her own salon. Rhode Island’s state regulations are a bit rigorous. They require a license even though Jocelyn’s sole purpose for opening the shop was to cater to solely natural hair with over the counter solutions such as gel.

Due to those regulations she could not run as the manager when launching the shop. She had to start the salon with a cosmetologist as the manager so that the salon could obtain a license. Nevertheless, after a well fought battle from 2015-2019 Jocelyn was soon able to deregulate the braiding of hair throughout the state officially in 2019. Since then Jocelyn has had JaeSlayed Studio located in Pawtucket, Rhode Island and has been growing her brand ever since. Recently she has launched JaeSlayed Haircare Products which cater to women, men and children with natural hair. With so much misinformation and miseducation about hair she has set out to spread knowledge throughout her community. She has started by running workshops to teach those how to care for natural hair properly, especially those in the foster care system who may not have received any education about the subject. In 2015/2016 JaeSlayed gained its first NFL client, Patrick Chung.

This was a huge accomplishment that helped to skyrocket her career. Her list of credits continue to expand and her name continues to grow and be heard all around many industries. Right now she is working on starting a podcast and continues being a prominent role model throughout her community. She states “Being a woman of color, first generation, college dropout, former welfare recipient, etc. I was “fated” to be a statistic. Through hard work, overcoming fears and obstacles, following goals up with strategic planning, and execution of said plans I was able to change the trajectory of my outcome in life. Jocelyn is innovative and a female disruptor who is breaking all barriers. If you are ever in Rhode Island make sure you visit JaeSlayed.

Entrepreneurial Journey Lessons Learned & Loved by Amanda Bonnell

Published

on

The life of an entrepreneur comes with a variety of experiences and opportunities. Those experiences are also rife with valuable lessons carried in them and essential to progress to success.

Amanda Bonnell, the innovative mastermind behind Harvard Strategy Consulting, Inc., has learned three valuable lessons in her successful career. These lessons became her guidelines for growing her sustainable business.

Studying The Market And Anticipating Challenges

No good thing ever comes easy, and challenges will always be a part of life. Amanda learned that as an entrepreneur, she shouldn’t fear the challenges that come her way. Instead, she knew that she needed to learn how to anticipate, enjoy, and be thankful for them because these challenges are necessary opportunities for her to improve her skills, sharpen her awareness and accelerate her capabilities. Challenges, for her, are a catalyst that will take her to the next level.

Once she’s prepared herself for the work to be done according to her growth road map, she then opens her peripheral radar to anticipate the challenges that come with it, Amanda shifts her focus to being aware of her customers’ ever evolving needs, their Jobs-To-Be-Done, as it’s called in Harvard. Amanda’s secret weapon is her innate ability to ‘Find the Consumers’ Gap’ (the solution to the consumers’ needs/problems).  Bonnell has risen and commands a new level of Growth Strategy Consulting, where other competition doesn’t swim, where she coaches entrepreneurs on ‘innovative & disruptive strategies’ to disrupt their industry (filling the consumers’ gap unlike their competition).

“This all starts with Reverse Engineering Your Revenue through the clients needs, and Not your desires.  Stay in touch with your ‘perfect’ end client, or you will lose your place as the thought leader,” she said.

Lastly, Amanda learned from her career as an entrepreneur that leading with legacy provides her great joy in her journey. Knowing who and how she has been gifted to serve others is the ultimate reward. Viewing her business through this perspective is incredibly fulfilling, as she watches her services positively impact the lives of so many others.

What She’s Looking Forward To

Amanda started her career in corporate America by working for one of the top Fortune 500 firms. She dabbled in the UX doing interface design for big conglomerates like eTrade, amongst others.  She then was swept away to run Executive seminars & Event experiences.  Finally, leading a team of over a thousand Sales Reps to the #1 position in her International Division.   Seems that what every Amanda touches, turns to gold because of her focus on the end client’s experience and needs.

She left the corporate world at the age of 28 to start her first company. She hit $1M in revenue in under 12 months. As a visionary, transformational leader, and innovative disruptive strategist, Amanda continues to lead entrepreneurs down a proven path of revenue growth, with professional and personal transformation, abundant success, collaboration, leverage, and relationships that last a lifetime.

Next year, she’ll be taking things to the next level through LAUNCH Capsule ‘22 where clients receive a high touch one-on-one experience with Amanda, learning disruptive strategies through her simple methodologies.

Amanda is loving the lives she’s touching through her PODCAST: RUNWAY 2 Inspire, a BTS interview with inspirational entrepreneurs, which is available on all podcast platforms, and SPOILER ALERT, the writing of her book at the end of 2022.
