Pacquiao took to social media as he shared his good wishes ahead of tough times for the country, which is at the epicenter of the disastrous typhoon. Philippines officials are calling it typhoon Rolly and have stated that it is one of the most devastating typhoons in recent times, with officials already calling it a “super-typhoon.”

Typhoon Rolly made landfall on Sunday morning, with officials expecting “catastrophic wind damage” after the gushing winds have passed and everything has settled.

The winds peaked at almost 135 miles per hour. Official reports also suggested that it could go up to 165 miles per hour. The joint typhoon which originated from the South China Sea is expected to hit Metro Manila – home to over 25 million people.

Manny Pacquiao’s trainer, Vice Mayor Buboy, also extended his hand to the current super middleweight champion. Pacquiao put forth several photographs where Restituto “Buboy” Fernandez is seen cutting a tree that has completely demolished a house.
