Santo 1Hunna: Connecticut Local Recording Artist Who Is Ready To Go Mainstream

Published

on

Andrew Vazquez better known as Santo 1Hunna has been doing music for quite some time. He knew music for what it is to be by seeing how much love his father had for music. Although his father was only in and

out of Santo’s life due to a drug addiction when his father was around, so was the music. His father was a freestyle artist and dj. So music had influenced him greatly. Santo 1Hunna is from Willinantic, CT he is 28 years young and was raised by a single mother alongside with his younger brother. If anyone knows something about hard work, dedication and going after their dreams it’s Santo 1Hunna.

Growing up Santo had to deal with a lot of obstacles and struggles. He was kind of a rebel growing up and got into some trouble down the line when he was just 16 years old. He found solace in writing poems and songs during those times and when he came back home he ended up changing his life and got right to work full time. Santo 1Hunna came up and made things right. He loved music and continued to keep his focus even when things weren’t looking the best and also losing his father. Rapping and creating music was always fun for him and a great escape.

It wasn’t until late 2020 wherenhe was introduced to an app called rapchat by one of his close friends and just started importing beats

and writing so much more everyday. The dedication was real! Santo’s brother was also doing his thing with music and had mentioned going to the studio and creating music there. From then on it was history. Santo 1Hunna was hooked and loved perfecting his craft at the studio.

As an artist it’s always hard to get where you want to be, but if you love what you do, you do what it takes and that’s exactly what he is doing. He has gained a great fan base since he has started dropping music on YouTube, Spotify and other platforms. If people weren’t listening before they’re definitely listening now. He is reaching many souls and opening quite a lot of eyes. His streams and followers grow daily. Locally people are hip to his music and jamming to his songs so whatever he is doing seems to be working.

Other artists from Connecticut want to work with him and producers have been reaching out. His music has even reached the ears in Italy! So much is to come from an artist this motivated and ready to work. He is planning on recording in Florida as well with some well

known engineers he has been connected with. Keep up with Santo 1Hunna he has so much in store and so much to show his audience. He will be dropping more singles and features.

He plans on releasing a mixtape or EP by fall and there’s hopes of a joint tape with his brother, so that’s going to be something to keep an eye out for. From growing up in a tough situation to being the creative and motivating man he is today he is definitely humbled but very hungry for success. He has learned to always take criticism whether it’s good or bad, take every failure as a lesson, and to always be humble but content with what he does. Santo is just like me and you, but he has the ambition to shine like other great artists. He wants anyone following in his path to have fun with it, enjoy it to the fullest, don’t get mad if things don’t happen the way you want it to, don’t be afraid to take risks and most importantly be yourself.

JUJU: An Undiscovered Gem

Published

on

If there is an undiscovered artist to get connected with, it’s JUJU. He is from Richmond, Virginia and was born in 1994. As a person and artist he prides himself in being genuine and entertaining. JUJU is quite an expressive soul and he loves to amaze his audience, as a child he loved the arts; he expresses himself through comedy, dance, painting and music which are all great escapes from reality for him. He lives to be his own person and won’t let anyone define him.

Society is always into labelingSomebody, especially people in the music industry, JUJU does not care what society labels him or about anyone’s opinion about him. He is a devoted artist and a genuine human being. JUJU says, “I just want to inspire before I expire”. His goal is to show people that they can make it through anything and they are not alone. He wants to inspire those who are going through dark times and that everything is not okay but that’s okay and we can all make it to the top. His energy is definitely unmatched.

Music has always been around him but he was introduced to the music industry while acting in the “Migos” commando video. Just being in the rap group’s presence and having that experience opened JUJU’s eyes, so he knew if they can do this, so could he. That experience definitely provided him with insight on where he could be by doing music. JUJU’s music is quite different but has also gotten feedback that he has a Post Malone and XXXtentacion vibe. He’s learned a lot from his journey and one of those lessons is to not trust no one and to just do it yourself so the only person you can blame for failure is yourself and you won’t get played in the

game. He has also learned to remain humble and to stay true to himself; no one is number one or better than God he says, “pride comes before the fall”.

Right now he is focused on dropping singles and marketing them one at a time. He says, “as an artist I feel like if you just focus on promoting one song until it gets traction, then just move on to the next”. One of his goals for this year is to be picked by a label but not as a rapper or singer but as a writer.

Check out JUJU’s music and follow him on social media!

Rico Freeman Has A Hit Single Featuring Boosie Badazz Set To Release

Published

on

Rico Freeman is an artist who shows his audience his dedication and creativity. He gives his crowd what they want and always delivers. He is most known for his storytelling conscious rap style. He has a great amount of content on all social media and throughout the web. He first appeared in a music video called, “Talking to God” sitting on a table in front of a tv in 2016. After the video was posted on social media it reached millions of views and had a new wave of fans asking for more!

Rico continued posting freestyles before he released “Strong”. Strong is a tear jerking heartfelt record dedicated to single mothers and produced by his childhood friend, Jmac in late 2016. He went on to team up with super producer Pretty Boi Beats which then led to recording the song, “Gangsta” in June 2017. The song gained a great amount of recognition and effectively planted his foundation to his newly established music career. In the year of 2018 Rico released his first studio album called, “The Real Story” which featured, “She Tired” with Tokyo Jetz and Ally Cocaine, “Average” with Dave Hollister and an upbeat hype song “Fire” with Bay area legend Mistah F.A.B and Young Goat “Nef The Pharaoh”.

With so many accomplishments and so many more goals to hit, Rico Freeman has a lot to smile about. After his first studio album went off he began touring off of the songs in that album. In anticipation of his second studio album “The Real Story Pt. 2”, Rico had recently released a mixtape titled “IlluZion is Back” which include hit singles “What She Gone Do” featuring Bone The Mack, “Hunnid Shots”, “Distractions” and a handful of other songs with more of a commercial feel this year in April 2021. Rico is set to release his new song “Gangsta” featuring Boosie Badazz and is sure to be a summer banger!

He started his music career back in highschool winning talent shows and performing at parties. He learned to be a great performer and artist in that way. He gained many fans and followers from his music but also from his interactions with his daughter online. He used to sing songs and braid her hair and posted those videos to his page and they would just go viral. It was a win/win for him; people would come on to his page and see his interactions with his daughter and then go onto checking his music out. He shows his audience who he is as a person as he does as an artist which is, a humble loving father proud of those he cares about and a creative motivated artist.

Being the humble ambitious person he is he has learned and understands that there is healing through music. He has learned that not everybody is genuine but also knows that not everyone is out to get you. Rico Freeman states, “You have to use judgement. What you put into it is what you get out of it, maybe not initially but stick to it and everything will fall into place”. He wants anyone following his career path to know that they should do what makes them happy. Never drain yourself and keep going after what you’re passionate about. Never give up, unless your heart is no longer in it and you just feel like you have nothing else to give. Even then come back to it which is what has happened to him. He got discouraged but came back harder than he left, all in all keep going.

Check out Rico Freeman and all he has to offer and again look out for his second studio album “The Real Story Pt. 2”.
