Proving that talents are born anywhere! Growing up he found himself gravitating towards self made musical pioneers such as Michael Jackson, R Kelly and Keith Sweat. These are artists his father introduced him to as a child. At the age of 14 THINKjustinjames began dabbling into music. He began practicing with writing and arranging songs. Hip Hop icons such as Jay Z, Mase and Ludacris inspired him to create. His debut single “Tell Me You Love Me” is a hit! As a matter of fact the song is airing nationally over 62 stations in the U.S and has been featured on top music sources such as Thisis50 and VladTV. His video to his song “Running Back” has also been recently placed on Worldstarhiphop. That one video accumulated over 100,000 views in just 24 hours. .
James came back to radio with “Higher” another song from his EP “Now Or Never”. This found him sharing stages with the likes of Fetty Wap, Rick Ross, Fat Joe, and Dave East. Buzzing off the EP, James assembled a new project which he later titled “MIXTour of eMOTIONs”. DJ Royce, took over as his DJ and the project’s A&R. Starting off with a remix to “Higher”, the project takes you on a musical journey through Hip Hop, Soul, R&B, Folk, Pop and Dance. “It’s a tour through a mixture of genres and emotions of love & hip hop.
