Today, we have the pleasure to ask some insightful questions and learn more about their future plans.

1.) Q: What influences and inspirations have shaped the Band’s sound?

A: “We have a lot of influences, but one of our main influences is definitely 80’s Brit-Pop/New Wave and 90’s alternative rock. Bands like “The Smiths”, “Radiohead”, “Joy Division”, “Interpol”, etc. Also, a lot of punk, Latin rock, and 70’s classic rock. We’re all over the board honestly. In fact, we’d love to thank our post-punk forefathers for their work and inspiration, without them our lives wouldn’t have a soundtrack.”

2.) Q: What’s the origin story? And how did the band come together?

A: “The band was formed out of necessity to express the love of music and a reason to get out of the house. Our members are from all corners of the Inland Empire, together this has been our outlet since 2009.”

3.) Q: How do you all approach the creative process of writing and recording music?

A: “It’s really not easy getting 6 people with bills to pay, to set aside time to come together and create music. When we do though, it’s truly magical. It starts off with just a lick or flick of some keys, a melody in the air, and something to say with despair. “See What I Did There? haha.” It’s never the same process, that’s what makes it unique to us. We all bring our ideas to the table collectively and make gumbo out of it.”

4.) Q: What are some memorable moments from your live performances?

A: “I guess it would be when we played a festival in Canada. Being on the same bill as “Bad Religion” and lots of bands from all over the world. So much energy from the people of Québec, it was an unforgettable experience to play for them and see their beautiful country.”

5.) Q: Are there any upcoming projects or future plans?

A: “Definitely, yes! We’re actually in the process of finishing our first LP since 2009, we’re also very excited to have it out by this summer. We have new music videos coming out as well, so definitely keep your ears & eyes open for new releases! It’s been a while since we’ve put out a Full length album, we put lots of blood, sweat, and tears into it. We just hope the ethos swallows it and churns it into butter.”

Thank you again for answering these questions truthfully and being very introspective, for us to really dive into. We excited to hear the upcoming project and see the new visuals, we’ll definitely be tuned In!
