How Lori Fudens Deals With Burnout And Continue Her Goal Of Training Others

Published

on

A person’s appearance is an important part of their life as it helps provide them with confidence to get through life. And one way that people maintain their looks is by going to stylists who are well-equipped to get the job done efficiently.

But before a stylist can work their magic on people, they first have to learn the basics of the trade to be able to produce good results. Fortunately, those in the Florida area have a good source of knowledge to guide them in the industry.

Lori Fudens, is more than just a stylist, trainer, and salon owner. She is also an educator who facilitates classes to empower stylists who want to excel to higher potential and earn better by doing one on one education or group  salon classes on color, business, social media, and money.

“I saw a need to help other stylists learn especially  when they didn’t have a mentor or training system near them,” she said.

How She Copes

Being a trainer and educator, Lori isn’t exempt from experiencing burnout especially if she spends a lot of time on her feet, or teaching others on days off. Yet, she has three ways to deal with it that others can take inspiration from.

The first is to stop but not quit.

“Take a deep breath. I spend time outside and breathe and take some self-care time! We can’t serve others from an empty cup right?” she said.

Next, Lori shifts her attention to helping someone achieve a goal for them.

“Anything, it doesn’t matter what it is. But, helping others is a way  to reverse whatever is happening from any burnout,” she offered.

Lastly, she keeps a clear perspective on why she started, thus urging her to traverse the path that she has taken even further.

Why She Trains Others

According to Lori, she started as a hairstylist because she loves making people look and feel great about themselves. But her innate love for teaching others inspired her to start training others to be great hairstylists.

“I saw so many new stylists that were graduating beauty school and didn’t have the tools, or knowledge needed for the skill and self-confidence to build a good hair career. So when I was teaching salons as a brand educator I saw a bigger need and a huge gap of learning  in our industry,” she said.

Eventually, Lori’s goal is to be able to help more hairstylists  outside her own geographical area.

For Lori, it was important for her to get out to more people and offer the knowledge and tools that she possesses.

“I believe if you have a great thing, a product or service, and you truly give to others who need it and you help people selflessly and give way more than expected, it comes back,” she said.

See How Entrepreneur Justin Jay Saunders Kept His Businesses Afloat Amidst The Pandemic Crises

Justin Jay Saunders

Undoubtedly, the adverse effects of the Covid-19 pandemic were felt in all areas of business, including the lead generation industry. A lot of business, brands, and agency owners saw a diminishing return on their investments, and many were scared about how to survive the harsh economic realities.

During this period, Justin Jay Saunders was creative with his business plans. He dynamically applied his skills, resulting in his businesses staying afloat and growing, despite others experiencing the opposites.

I look at everything as a new opportunity to do something great. So while a lot of people were complaining about the effects of Covid and how it is affecting the world, I made sure to do the opposite. I looked at how to adopt new things.

In the lead industry, I noticed that there is an increase in demand than it had before. So if business owners are looking to and being forced to getting client online,” Saunders said.

Birthing a new system

This new mode of doing business means that the lead generation industry is changing and growing compared to the previous years. Especially with the outbreak of the pandemic, businesses will have to operate online majorly. This was effectively utilized by Justin Saunders, as he owns and runs four online businesses. In addition, his online presence has given him the leverage to work with over 400 online businesses, and this has shown a proven recipe for growth.

When Justin was speaking about the transition to online platforms, he reinforced the importance of taking advantage of it because many people are now online. As a result, it is easier to make the business operate compared to times in the past. He said:

I see the lead generation industry skyrocketing in the next couple of years because everyone is online right now. Everyone is, except you are not a real person. Fortunately, businesses are starting to understand that now. Back in 2018 when I first started, it was a different ball game. You had to sell the idea of getting customers online, now it is more of selling the system rather than the idea.”

For the smooth running of his businesses, Justin Saunders has put specific measures in place before Covid to ensure that the harsh economic realities do not affect them. According to him, his businesses will still work after covid because of the solid foundation that has been built in the businesses. In addition, the team has worked on improving clients’ results, and this will ensure that they keep trusting our services.

Clients’ results are everything in the digital space, and there is always room for improvement with it,” Justin says.

In addition to this, a lot of people are putting up their businesses online and creating an online presence. Justin Saunders adapted these types of measures into his business blueprints.

People are getting into the online space of coaching, consulting, E-Commerce and so on. This shows that simply providing services online is making more demands for lead generation now more than before. I believe this will continue to have more positive effects on the industry,” Justin says.
