A Song Review: “Man You Want Me To Be” by Ralph Curtis

Since his formal debut in 2020, Ralph Curtis has already produced an alluring body of work. RC, a native of The Nutmeg State, continues his successful musical career with the release of “Man You Want Me To Be” This is his third single as a solo artist.

This five-minute Pop-Country ballad shows RC’s development as a musician and individual. This song’s harmonies are rich and ear-catching, leading the listener into deep thought. “Man You Want Me To Be” explores what makes a “good man” and emphasizes living life to the fullest.

RC’s silky, smooth tenor vocal resonance distinctly catches your listening senses. Ralph is off to a great start, attempting to match and surpass his first song, “I Was Him & He Was Me,” with “Man You Want Me To Be,” Ralph Curtis is poised to leave an unforgettable impact on the independent country music market.

He collaborated on this project with three incredibly skilled Florida-based artists, pianist Hunter McDaniel, and mix engineer Caleb Neff and mastering engineer Tony Eichler. The recording took place at Juniper Recording Studio in Cape Coral.

A mix of an appealing  and warm voice with elementary and mild background music, “Man You Want Me To Be” is an art form that entices you to listen again and again. Effortlessly infectious, the storytelling style drives the point home. I don’t think anyone can stop themselves from repeatedly listening to this fantastic song, can you?
