Most successful artists within the music industry have one simple thing in common, their passion for music and the perseverance to succeed in the industry in the first place. While some artists may find success faster than others, the hard work and tremendous due diligence put into their creations can never be taken away from them.
Take Dominique Cubas for example, the self-taught 19 year old singer/songwriter out of Atlanta Georgia has been writing music since she was 12 years old while she was homeschooled. Dominique’s passion for music began at the age of 7 when she started taking piano lessons and singing in church choirs and talent shows.
When she began public schooling she lost passion for music, by the time she was in high school she decided to start taking her talent more seriously, working on her talent regularly until college, where she auditioned to join a travel singing group and was accepted. This fired up her passion for music and she started writing and recording her own music.
During the Novel CoronaVirus Pandemic, Cubas started curating what would become her first published song while on a gap year from college. Using her music as an outlet from a painful break up, she turned her emotions into the masterpiece we know today as, “Alone With You”.
This amazing artist is just breaking into the industry and has the talent and potential to rise to the top.
