Kim Kardashian was in Boston Friday, making an appearance at Harvard Business School.
Harvard Business School draws top talent, including heads of state, CEOs, and others. But Kardashian’s presence still caused a bit of a stir.
Students inside the class said Kardashian spoke for about an hour and 45 minutes as part of a direct-to-consumer seminar. As she left she smiled she was greeted by NBC10 Boston’s camera, saying she loved Boston.
Kim Kardashian is always a topic of interest on the internet, from her fashion choices to her ex-husbands and her ad campaigns. So when Kardashian gave a talk at Harvard Business School, it’s no surprise that some people had a lot of feelings about it.
On Saturday, Kardashian posted a picture on Twitter and Instagram about speaking at a course called “Moving Beyond Direct to Consumer,” and examines how brands scale up. She wrote that she addressed the class along with her business partner, Jens Grede, with whom she cofounded the multimillion-dollar shapewear company SKIMS, and called her to visit the school her “bucket list dream.”
